  • What makes Meadow Rose different?

    Meadow Rose is a bright, purpose-built home situated in the area of Northfield. Home for up to 49 residents, Meadow Rose revolves around family and the local community. A regular stream of visitors, whether that be family members, volunteers, members of the local community, charities or entertainers gives Meadow Rose a lively atmosphere.

    Residents can often be found relaxing in the outdoor garden setting, which is complete with a sensory garden and is perfect for socialising. Meadow Rose’s facilities vastly exceed the required standards for UK Nursing homes, with large communal spaces, and many of the rooms coming complete with an en-suite wet room. Talented and good-natured carers and nurses, are on-hand to ensure that residents want for nothing.

    Additional services include; a laundry service, access to a weekly in-house hairdresser, massages and manicures. We also can arrange for sessions including, Aromatherapy, Chiropodist, Chiropractor, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene and Eye Testing. The care team are on hand 24/7 to provide any other kind of assistance.

  • Our rooms

    Many of Meadow Rose’s 49 rooms are single, with an en-suite wet room, television point and a nurse-call system as standard. Many also enjoy the benefit of pleasing, far-reaching views over the surrounding area.

  • The care we offer

    Meadow Rose provides the following care services:

    • Residential Care
    • Nursing Care
    • Dementia Care*

    *Dementia Care is offered on a case-by-case basis. We are unfortunately unable to offer residency to individuals whose behaviour has become disruptive.

    Due to lack of bed availability, we are not often able to provide Respite Care.

  • Activities

    With an impressive social schedule and activities on 7 days a week, there is always something new to experience at Meadow Rose. Activities range from exercise classes including yoga, skittles and netball to special events such as professional singers and even ‘mocktail’ classes. In addition to the home’s extremely popular social schedule, Meadow Rose also goes the extra mile to ensure that residents’ hobbies are supported. Day trips are also common place, with residents’ family members and volunteers alike joining in, with visits to local attractions or the theatre.

  • Food

    The menu at Meadow Rose is of exceptional quality, with the on-site catering team providing hearty dishes, in an array of dining options daily. Dietary preferences are catered for and snacks and drinks are available wherever residents require them.
