We’re extremely proud to announce that Priestley Rose has gained an all-green, ‘Good’ rating from the CQC, in its latest inspection of the home. Priestley Rose joins Abbey Rose, which attained the coveted all-green rating back at the end of January.
The staff at Priestley Rose, which is based in, Erdington were over the moon about this news which provides recognition to their hard work over the past year.
The CQC report’s comments included:
“People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible.”
“People and their relatives were happy with the care they received and felt that staff were caring and compassionate towards them. People’s privacy and dignity was maintained and staff encouraged people to be as independent as possible.”
“People received a service that was well managed, by a stable management team and there were systems in place to ensure the care people received was monitored. People knew who the registered manager was and felt that she was open and visible in the home. This gave people confidence in the service. People had the opportunity to comment on the quality of the service they received.”
These comments are among many overwhelmingly positive ones within the report. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our hard-working staff members at Priestley Rose for their care and compassion and assuring these standards are met.
This feedback demonstrates Macc Care’s continuing commitment to improving our care and upholding high standards within our homes.
