    Church Rose is a lively, purpose-built home within the area of Handsworth, which can provide care for up to 48 residents. All its rooms are single occupancy, en-suite guaranteeing the highest standards of accommodation. Culture and community are at the heart of Church Rose, which celebrates a hugely diverse and rich representation of cultural backgrounds amongst its residents.

    Church Rose thrives on supporting and celebrating the heritage of every one of its residents, with everything from events to the food menu aiming to support and recognise these. The team work hard to ensure the maintenance of residents’ livelihoods, even down to details such as providing bibles and other religious texts in a larger font. The culture of Church Rose means that the wider community and families are involved with all residents, even those they are not related to; this truly is one big family. With some residents coming in for a short stay of respite care, Church Rose treats each of its residents with the same thought and effort, regardless of the length of their stay.

    Additional services include; a laundry service, access to a weekly in-house hairdresser, massages and manicures. We also can arrange for sessions including, Aromatherapy, Chiropodist, Chiropractor, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene and Eye Testing. The care team are on hand 24/7 to provide any other kind of assistance.

    Church Rose has 48 rooms across 4 wings. All are tastefully decorated, single occupancy, en-suite and are well above the standard size set by the CQC.

    *Dementia Care is offered on a case-by-case basis. We are unfortunately unable to offer residency to individuals whose behaviour has become disruptive.

  • Activities

    With an exceptional level of involvement in the surrounding community, Church Rose aims to integrate this within as many of its activities as possible. Visitors range from charities, schools, colleges and religious speakers from a broad spectrum of spiritual backgrounds. Activities include visiting dancers, BBQs, parties, birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations of an array of holidays. Church Rose is also renowned for its commitment to mental health, with charities paying frequent visits.

  • Food

    Residents look forward to an exceptionally diverse menu, with world foods cooked as a matter of norm by the hugely talented (and popular) on-site chef. All dietary preferences are catered for, and snacks and drinks are available wherever the residents require.
